The iCRco’s patented design incorporates a True Flat Scan Path with one moving part, an ultra precise scan mechanism does not damage the phosphor plate during the scanning or exposure process to produce over 300,000 high resolution images per plate while others offer 8,000 to 10,000 images per plate.
iCRco imaging plates are fixed to a rigid back panel. The phosphor plates are only exposed to the laser and are never extracted from the cassette. Nothing ever touches the active area of the phosphor plate resulting in an artifact free image.
Unlike most CR products, the iCRco products use no rollers to transport the plate across the scan head. A positive traction drive system ensures perfect artifact free reproduction.

ICE-2 offers an automatic image processing package that increases visualization of fine-line detail and soft-tissue contrast. We also integrated a Smart Smoothing™ technology that improves image quality while preserving diagnostic detail for thicker body parts.
